Q: How long is the trial period for mattresses?
A: Our mattresses come with a 120-night comfort trial. You can try your mattress at home and initiate a return any time after 30 nights but before 120 nights from delivery.
Q: How do I return a mattress?
A: To start a return, please contact us at support@brooklynbedding.com with “Return Request” in the subject line. A $99 return fee applies to all mattresses. We’ll help arrange pickup and mattress disposal.
Q: Can I exchange my mattress for a different model?
A: Yes! You can either:
- Return your mattress, receive your refund (minus return fee), then place a new order, or
- Initiate a return and place a new order immediately. You’ll typically receive your refund within 3–4 business days.
Q: What if I ordered from a physical showroom?
A: If you purchased from a Brooklyn Bedding Showroom, please contact the specific store directly—online customer service can’t access showroom orders.
Q: What about accessories like toppers, pillows, sheets, protectors, or foundations?
A: These items have a 30-day return/exchange window from delivery. We’ll email you a prepaid return label—just box up the items and ship them back.
Q: Can I return a clearance or deeply discounted item?
A: No—clearance or special pricing items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Q: If I’m in Alaska, Hawaii, or Canada, is shipping refundable?
A: No—shipping charges for returns to these locations are non-refundable, and currency exchange rate differences may affect refund amounts.
Q: Are foundations or adjustable bases returnable?
A:
- Foundations: 3-year parts replacement warranty (not eligible for return).
- Adjustable bases: Final sale; only parts are covered under a 2-year warranty.
Q: Does my setup affect my return eligibility?
A: Yes—mattress returns may be denied if the mattress was used on an improper foundation, such as overly-spaced or bowed slats or a flexible box spring. We may request photos for verification.
